NO-vember

This week we focus on using the 6th energy point located in the centre of our forehead, related to our Intuition.

November is often the worst month of the year for some people, well it does have a ‘no’ in it. It’s the last of the Autumn months and we know winter is on the way and it’s a long way to spring in the UK. Often, we many find ourselves saying ‘no’ a lot more;

  • Do you want to go for a walk?

    No, it’s cold

  • Do you want to go and see a friend?

    No, they won’t be around.

 We find excuses that support our reasoning to just curl up and not do anything; the weather in the UK often reinforces that feeling of hibernation.

So, start to use your intuition this month, imagine you’re sat on your sofa, feeling tired, unmotivated, it’s cold outside and you are feeling very lethargic. Then a great friend rings the doorbell, and you answer it. Within a millisecond, your motivation increases, your tiredness disappears, and you are full of life and chatter. What happened?

It can be easy to overwrite the negative brain programme and here’s a few tips on how to do it, without waiting for the friend to turn up at the door!

  1. Look at what you are wearing right now, is it grey, black, brown or in other words wintery colours? Intuitively you know that if you force yourself to get some of those brighter colours out of the wardrobe, the bright blue, the pinks and yellows, you’ll feel better. It may only be the accessories that change but you’ll interrupt that mindset of always wearing dark colours in winter.

  2. Get outside and into nature, it can change how you feel when you exit the four walls of your home.

  3. Find a hobby or distraction that stops you watching wall to wall television. If you find that too much of a challenge, then change your viewing from meaningless TV to YouTube and learn a new skill, it keeps the brain active and can out you back in the learning zone to feel better.

  4. And finally, try some exercise or join a Yoga Class. Social interaction and physical  activity have been shown to help you feel more motivated.

Never give in to NO-vember and stay motivated
