Despite the gales, snow storms and endless wind, spring has definitely arrived in the far north. The Robins are squabbling over their garden territories and the rest of the songbirds are ramping up their choruses.
Hopefully life looks like getting back to some kind of normality in the coming months. The general consensus up here is things will become hectic, as the “staycation” seems to be the preferred option for getting away for the foreseeable future.
With that in mind, the campsite is ready to take delivery of the three glamping pods in the next week or so and the cottage and shower block are ready for their finishing touches. Fingers crossed and lockdown rules eased, then the month of May should see us ready for the masses!
In the meantime we’ll be enjoying the lighter evenings and warming sun, along with the peaceful tranquility and dog walks on deserted beaches.
